Giezendanner – a success-story

As a Europe-wide transport and logistics service provider, the Giezendanner group of companies has continued to develop. The company has a leading position in intermodal chemical transport by rail and road throughout Europe. Today, the Giezendanner group of companies employs over 250 people across Europe.

The philosophy of the Giezendanner family is still deeply anchored in the company's culture and the roots can still be felt. Giezendanner Transport AG has remained a family business and is now in the second generation. The head office is at the founding site in Rothrist, Switzerland.

Our main branch and subsidiary Giezendanner Köln GmbH also has a wide range of vehicles for the transport of tank and silo containers as well as swap bodies for solid goods. In addition, we run the Giezendanner Duisburg and Giezendanner Hamburg branches.

With our employees from Giezendanner Italy S.R.L. in Ravenna and the branch in Busto Arsortio, we also cover southern European traffic optimally and comprehensively.

Thanks to our subsidiary RTW - Recycling Transport AG, we are also represented nationally and internationally in the tipper, dump truck and crane business. RTW - Recycling Transport AG has a wide fleet of special vehicles, which are ideally suited for your orders.

Kombiverkehr

With the company Kombiverkehr, we mainly carry out transports on the north-south axis in and around Germany.

Hupac

With Hupac, we mainly handle transports on the north-south axis in and around Italy.

SBB

We work with the Swiss Federal Railways in border-crossing traffic and within Switzerland.

Elvis Swiss Cargo Pool

We are a member of the Elvis Swiss Cargo Pool, an association of 20 owner-managed medium-size Swiss transport and logistics companies. Together we have 1,250 trucks and 280,00 m² of storage space in Switzerland and the Principality of Lichtenstein.
